What the phone line keeps, and where it goes

This is about calls and texts to the business line for Brockchain Labs LLC, the number printed on thebrockchain.com. It is written in plain words on purpose.

A computer answers the phone

An AI assistant picks up, not a person. It can put a meeting on Brock's calendar, or take a message so he calls you back. The call is recorded, and the assistant tells you so in the first thing it says.

What we take when you call

• the phone number you are calling from, as the phone network hands it to us
• your name, which the assistant asks for
• a callback number, which the assistant asks for
• what you want to talk about, in your own words
• when the call started and how long it ran
• a written copy of what was said on the call
• whether the call ended in a meeting or in a message

What we take when you text the line

• the phone number you are texting from
• what you wrote

Why we take it

To book the meeting, or to write the message down so Brock can call you back. That is the whole reason. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone who wants to sell you something.

Where it lives

In a database called D1, run by Cloudflare, who host this software. If you book a meeting, that meeting also goes on Brock's Google Calendar with your name, your callback number and your reason, and one text goes to Brock's own phone with the same details.

Who else touches it

• ElevenLabs is the company whose software answers. The call runs on their system, so they make the recording and the written copy.
• Twilio carries the phone call and the text messages.
• Google Calendar holds the meeting once it is booked.
• Cloudflare runs this software and the database it writes to.

Each of them keeps its own records under its own rules, which we do not set.

How long we keep it

Until somebody removes it by hand. There is no timer in this system and nothing here deletes itself, so a call record or a message stays until it is deleted on purpose. If you want yours gone, write to the address below and ask for it.

Cancelling a booked meeting takes the meeting off the calendar. The record that the call happened stays.

What this page does not do

It sets no cookies and it runs no scripts. There is no ad network here, no tracking pixel, and we build no profile of you. Cloudflare runs the server, so it sees the request the way any web host sees a request.

The software reads the network address of a request so it can slow down a flood of traffic. That address is not written into the database.
